Weekly Prayer Focus: Wymondham Baptist Church

Week 50

Wymondham Baptist Church lies southwest of Norwich and under the leadership and guidance of their pastor Paul Smith they are currently in the throws of extending their premises to provide a community space. God has provided the finance through grant funding, fund-raising efforts, and sacrificial giving of the church fellowship. The area, which is glazed and designed to provide an eco-friendly space, will be used by their Roots Community Café. They find it can be frustrating as progress is slow, but the church is praying that the building will be completed and ready to be opened in time for Easter 2026.

Currently they are able to be open for services on Sunday mornings, for prayer group in the week, youth group on alternate Friday evenings and for their weekly Warm Space.

They are excited at what God has for them in the future and where He will lead as they welcome the community into their new space.

Please pray for –

• Patience as the building work progresses and for no problems or hitches for the builders.
• Guidance as they prepare for opening and as they look at how the extension will be used in the future.
• Continued support for the church family and for those who they normally welcome into different church activities.
• For ongoing growth of their home groups and good relationships within the fellowship.
• For the future of youth work in the church, and in their engagement with schools.
