The Guide also contains advice about the different levels of check required and who does / doesn’t need to be checked. There is also a form to use if you need to change a verifier’s details. Accredited Baptist Ministers, Newly Accredited Ministers, Ministers in Training and Recognised Local Ministers need to undertake a DBS with Association not with the church. People in ministerial roles that are not accredited by the Baptist Union should complete a DBS with their church.
