As Christians, we are called to care for the environment and steward God’s creation. At the Eastern Baptist Association (EBA), we believe that churches can play an important role in protecting and restoring the natural world. We’re encouraging all our churches to become Eco Churches—an initiative that empowers congregations to make practical and meaningful changes in their environmental impact.
The Eco Church programme, led by A Rocha UK, is designed to help churches take action on environmental sustainability. The programme provides a framework to guide churches in making changes that reflect their Christian commitment to the care of the earth.
A Rocha UK – Caring for creation
We are pleased that so many of our churches have already embraced the Eco Church programme.
