Weekly Prayer Focus: EBA Team, AGM and Suffolk Week

Week 38

September is a significant month in the life of the Eastern Baptist Association, with our AGM, Suffolk Week, and a host of inductions, ordinations, members’ meetings, deacons’ meetings, and visits for our Regional Team to get involved in.

The Team are grateful for the support and encouragement they receive, as well as for the prayers of people across the Association. Please continue to pray as the team work together to serve the Association, and as they welcome the new part-time staff who will join the team over the coming weeks.

Our Association afternoon and AGM on Tuesday 24^th September will include time to focus on Project Violet, the national Financial Model Review, and conversations about how we all associate together. As part of the formal AGM we’ll be looking to elect a new Moderator as well as offering our thanks to those trustees whose terms of office are coming to an end. It has been an interesting year across our Baptist movement, and there are still many challenges ahead. But we remain hopeful for the future as well as grateful for all who serve in voluntary capacities in the life of our Association.

One new way we are seeking to celebrate all that happens across our four counties is to have a focus week, and this year that is all about Suffolk. Across our twenty seven Suffolk churches there are many good people serving with creativity and faithfulness. Do join us in praying for each of these twenty seven churches, their leaders, and the communities they are serving.

The team as they support churches and travel around the Association.
Our AGM as we mark another year together and consider future plans.
Suffolk Week, and the opportunity to celebrate all that God is doing across the county.
