Weekly Prayer Focus: Cornerstone: Kings Lynn Baptist Church

Kings Lynn is a bustling market town in West Norfolk. One of the major employers in the locality is Kings Lynn Port which handles over 400,000 tonnes of cargo each year.

Located on the corner of Saddlebow Rd and Wisbech Rd stands Cornerstone: Kings Lynn Baptist Church. The current minister, Rev June Love, has been with the fellowship for just under two years. She is supported by a fantastic leadership team.

Cornerstone KLBC is an active and busy Church. In addition to the Sunday Worship, there are Parent-Toddler groups, kids clubs, teen groups and interest groups. The Church also runs a warm hub where you can have a game of carpet bowls. Also, there is a community lunch twice a month where you simply pay what you can afford. There is a monthly pop-up Christian bookshop and the coffee shop is open for people to enjoy cake and good company as they browse. The fellowship give thanks for the growth in the numbers of children and young people who are attending the mid-week groups as well as on a Sunday.

The fellowship in Kings Lynn are supporting the wider community through the FoodBank, Debt Centre and Night Shelter.

There is a buzz and excitement in the fellowship of Cornerstone KLBC as it feels as if God is really doing something in and through the fellowship.
