The past year has been one like no other and many of us are in need of a rest. In the next few weeks, we will be holding events across the association that will allow a break where we can rest, recharge and reconnect with God. Each will have a different emphasis and you are welcome to come to one or all. Lunch and refreshments will be provided and there will be plenty of space to find rest and to reconnect with God and one another. Following a robust appointing process and a strong call at the general meeting. Eastern Baptist Association has the pleasure of announcing the appointment of two new Regional Ministers who will take up post later this year. (exact date to be confirmed). Rev Gale Richards will be joining us on a part time basis. Gale brings with her experience of church pastoral ministry, chaplaincy and local, regional, national and international engagement in Baptist Life. Rev Claire Blatchford will be joining us as full time regional minister for the southern sector. Claire brings with her experience of church pastoral ministry, Claire has a passion for people and churches to grow and develop spiritually to further the work of the kingdom.
