We have created a series of eight short videos which explore the Easter story. The videos are 2-4 minutes each and they can be used by churches and individuals to share on social media and also to use in services and events.
You can view all eight videos on our YouTube channel in this playlist or through the individual links below. During Holy Week, we will be releasing these videos daily on our Facebook page starting on Palm Sunday and it would be encouraging if as many churches and individuals as possible could share these.
We are grateful to all those who have made these videos and to Rob Hughes for creating the animations and for editing these videos.
The Eight Videos are:
Palm Sunday: In this first video, Keith Tarring from Comberton Baptist Church helps us to explore Palm Sunday.
Cleansing the temple: In this second video, Esther Day from London Road Baptist Church in Lowestoft helps us to explore the cleansing of the temple.
Facing Difficult Questions: In this third video, Sam Abramian from Good Hope Communities in Hunstanton helps us to explore the theme of facing difficult questions. In the days leading up to his death Jesus seemed to have received and answered a lot of these. How did he answer in the way he did knowing what was to come.
The Last Supper: In this fourth video, Rob Hughes from West Mersea Free Church helps us to explore the Last Supper.
Gethsemane: In this fifth video, our Regional Minister team Leader Beth Powney helps us to explore Gethsemane.
Good Friday: In this sixth video, one of our regional ministers Graeme Ross helps us to explore Good Friday.
Living in the in-between: In this seventh video, Cath Brown helps us to think about the day between Good Friday and Easter Sunday. In particular, she explores what it is like living in the In-Between.
Easter Sunday: In this eighth video, one of our regional ministers Graeme Ross helps us to explore Easter Sunday and the Good news that Jesus is alive! (The person who was due to make this video was unable to do so at the last minute and we are grateful to Graeme for recording this at the last minute).
You can download mp4 copies of each video through this link.
You can check out the video thumbnails below (please note that the thumbnails don’t contain any links so use the links above).
