An update and further details on Graeme’s move

By Hayley Beckett on 27th July 2023

We shared the news last week that Graeme will be moving on from his role as a Regional Minister in the EBA. We are grateful for all that he has brought to the life of the association and we wish him well for the future.

Graeme’s final day working with the EBA will be 10th October and he will take up his new role as the Minister of Bethesda Baptist Church in Trowbridge after this. Please also pray for the Ross family who are moving on 15th August in order for their youngest daughter to begin year 10 and her GCSE’s in September in a new school. From that date, Graeme will be spending part of his time here is the EBA and part time working remotely from Trowbridge.

Graeme is hoping to connect with as many people as possible before he leaves and so do get in touch with him if you would appreciate this.

The past few months has been difficult for Graeme as he has sensed the call to move but there is a lot he feels he is leaving behind in his work with ministers and churches. In wrestling with this he believes God gave him these words from Psalm 32.8-9 and this helped him to trust and to step into what God has next for him.

The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life.
I will advise you and watch over you.
Do not be like a senseless horse or mule
that needs a bit and bridle to keep it under control.”

Please join us in praying for Graeme and his family as they seek to obediently follow what they believe is God’s best pathway for their lives.
