BMS World Mission
Thank you! We’re so grateful to our volunteers and 24:7 Partners for the time, energy, and prayers that you dedicate to the work of BMS World Mission.
As a way to express our thanks, we’ve organised a BMS Café on Saturday 18 November at 12:30pm to 3.40pm, at Histon Baptist Church in Cambridge. This will be an opportunity to come together in fellowship, prayer, and hear some of the latest news from BMS staff and mission workers first hand.
Bring your own lunch and we’ll provide drinks and cake.
During this café event, you will meet Ann and David MacFarlane, who served in Italy with refugees who survived the dangerous Mediterranean crossing. Let us know you’re coming by clicking on this link and registering for the event Bookings will close on Monday 6 November, we look forward to seeing you there. If you have any questions, please contact us at churchrelations@bmsworldmission.org
Myyouthworklife.org
Borne out of a partnership between The Department of Lay Ministry at Ridley Hall Cambridge, The Diocese of Ely, and the Eastern Baptist Association, the website seeks to provide an entry-point for many Youth work Practitioners to be further equipped in their youth work by means of using the website as a flexible training tool, to dip in and out of, or read through with a more structured approach.
This no-nonsense training tool is already equipping many Youth workers around the country to inspire and engage them in their learning, and pointing them to new ideas, ways of thinking, and further training if needed.’
The website, which is constantly being added to with new training material in response to aspects of Youth culture and prevalent issues within Youth ministry, is free to access and all material can be downloaded as printable PDF’s for the benefit of Youth teams who may wish to engage with programmes of learning together.
For more information and a full look at the site, see www.myyouthworklife.org or email hello@myyouthworklife.org

Opportunities
‘SPEAK UP’ https://greatcommission.co.uk/speak-up-the-full-resource Speak Up is a new resource from the Evangelical Alliance and the Lawyers’ Christian Fellowship to equip and inspire Christians with confidence and knowledge of the current legal freedoms we have to share our faith. We want to give you confidence to speak up. Sometimes Christians may face hostility or rejection, but we also have many rights and freedoms. This resource outlines the freedoms we have in different parts of our lives, from talking about Jesus in our homes, to street evangelism, to sharing our faith at work or online.
