The AGM will form part of a broader afternoon which begins at 1.00pm.
The first part of the afternoon will be led by the Regional team who will present and lead discussions on Project Violet, the Baptist Union Financial Model Review and EBA priorities for the future. At 2.30pm will break for afternoon tea before the AGM begins at 3.15pm. There is no limit on how many people from each church attend the afternoon.
The AGM will include the election for the EBA Moderator role. Rev Lou Webber has been nominated for this role, Specific information about Lou has been emailed to each church. Voting will take place during the AGM.
Member churches are eligible to nominate representatives to vote on their behalf, for churches with up to 100 members you get 1 vote, 101-199 members 2 votes and over 200 members 3 votes. Each representative present can cast 1 vote. (Articles of Association 13)
The Moderator will be appointed by a majority vote (Byelaws 8)

King’s Church, Mildenhall does not have a car park, there is ability to drop off anyone with mobility issues outside the church. Parking is available at Recreation Way IP28 7HG (in the car park down past the Sainsbury’s Car Park)
For us to ensure we cater accordingly and record who is present for the AGM please book with EBA Secretary stating names of all those attending, who your appointed representatives are for voting at the AGM and if anyone has dietary issues.
