Projects of the Year

Project of the Year is a scheme that gives a chance for churches to highlight a particular project they are undertaking and to ask for financial and prayer support in their mission activities. It is for either a building project or an outreach project.

The Project 2016 church was Gorleston Baptist Church, Norfolk and related to the complete refurbishment of the rear of the premises to include a new toilet are with shower, new entrance, new kitchen, new roof and a new hall to provide a better atmosphere for the existing Drop-in centre and make the premises available for occasional community use.

From 2017 onwards we want to have at least one project from each sector and that this more local approach will enable churches to feel more connected with the projects that they are supporting.

So in 2017 the three churches involved are showcased below.

If you think your church may have a project for 2018, speak to your Regional Minister.

The application criteria and the application form to be considered for Projects of the Year 2018 is available to download here.  The deadline for applications is 28th February 2018.
