How do we as Churches have the conversation about same-sex attraction and discipleship in a manner that is Christ-like?
These day workshops will address this vital question through storytelling and discussion, working with the story ‘A Beautiful Endeavour’, opening up our conversation after each scene, so that we will explore biblical, theological and pastoral aspects of the discussion around sexuality and faith.
Facilitated by Revd Steve Elmes, Lead minister of Bookham Baptist Church in Surrey, Over the last eight years, Stephen Elmes has been helping churches in SEBA engage in this important conversation. Steve is the author of Sexuality, Faith & the Art of Conversation—Part One, Sexuality, Faith & the Art of Conversation- Parts Two, Three & Four and “A Beautiful Endeavour a copy of which will be given to all who attend the workshop.
