This year’s President, Tim Presswood, is inviting us to consider how we Share Christ’s Great Banquet. This follows on from his predecessor, Hayley Young’s call for us to Build a Bigger Table.
A keen walker, Tim is coming to EBA and would love the opportunity to discuss his theme over a walk.
We have arranged two walks on Monday 2nd October in order to make it easier for people from different parts of the association to attend.
We hope you can join Tim, and Graeme from the regional team, on one of these walks:
The start and finish point is Mill Pond car park (CO7 6DH). There is a small charge for parking, click on the link to find out more.
We will stop at Flatford Mill, where there is a cafe and toilets for around 20-30 minutes. The total walk including this stop should take us around 2 hours.
You can see a map of the route we will be taking here.
OR
The start and finish point is located at IP27 0SS. For the most accurate map location, use this link in Google maps or what3words thickens.sprouted.crib.
The starting point is in a small car park (big enough for 6 or 7 cars) on the right as you drive towards Brandon (the car park has a little white sign with a red 10). If it is full, then there is a larger car park up the track across the road (signed mayday bird hide). This car park is 0.15 miles away from our starting point in the smaller car park. See the images below for further information. Parking is free at both car parks.
We will stop at High Lodge, where there is a cafe and toilets for around 20-30 minutes. The total walk including this stop should take us around 2-2.5 hours.
You can see a map of the route we will be taking here.
Both walks will have toilet and cafe facilities at the half way point.
The half way points will also have car parking and so if you only felt able to do half of one of the walks then get in touch to discuss this
